The Destination Oregon Resort will be a World-Class Entertainment Center and resort casino. The facility will provide luxury hotel accommodations, the finest in local restaurants, a relaxing spa, a variety of shopping opportunities, cinema, live theatre venues for local area talent as well as national and international stars and a gaming floor for slot machines and table games.
The project will attract Oregonians as well as tourists from across the country and around the world. The Destination Oregon Resort will provide an outlet for Oregon restaurants, shops, as well as musical and theatrical groups. And most importantly, it will become a gathering place for Oregonians to enjoy themselves.
Our proposal dedicates 25% of the adjusted gross gaming revenues, estimated at more than $186 million per year, which will provide a big boost for our public schools and other vital services. Nineteen other states have already approved and benefited from commercial taxable casino resorts.
Local Support
We are pleased that the mayor of Wood Village, David Fuller, also sees this as a good idea and has provided his support. The project is a revitalization of the historic Multnomah Kennel Club in Wood Village, Oregon. This facility has an operating history of of over 50 years as a gaming facility. Our goal will be to develop the site into a destination location that will be a source of pride for all Oregonians.
